I'm starting a new project tonight. I just put the finishing touches on a couple of works I've already promised to an editor. As soon as I have an official acceptence, I'll announce the publication. Looks like a great company to work with. Kind of like a publishing co-op.

There's a particular dramatic flow I'm looking for in everything I read now. I call it the dip. You see, a good scene is structured like a roller coaster. This of course is pretty common knowledge to most dramatists. So I'm not claiming to have found some great truth here, I'm just stating it for completeness mostly--and the terrible mixed metaphor I'll use to try to illustrate my point.
