boy, where do I begin with this one?
Scarlet Rose has been the cherry on my Nelson pie for 2 years. My life got a lot more glamorous when I met her, dressed to the nines as the MC for my first burlesque show. Guess we had so much fun we haven't stopped putting on shows together. I love her imagination, her vintage flair, her dirty mouth, and her sweet a*#. yummy mommy!

I love producing my own shows. The Scarlet Rose Revue is my live variety talk show. I guest star local "celebrities", interview and collaborate performances with them. I sing, I dance, write original sketch comedy and feature my infamous freedom fighting pin-up cowgirl of relish,Rosie Rawhide.
Burlesque shows are my way to express my naked person self and my naughty sense of humour. Hey, I always say," I'll only be sexy if I can be funny." One of the best times I've ever had laughing by myself was the first time I tried spinning pasties alone in my bathroom. So fun and funny I just had to do it! El Lisel and Scarlet Mary Rose do it up in The Magazine Show, where your hosts the magazine ho's talk the latest in magazine fashion, designers, celebrities, movies, and music coming to you from BFN(butt fuck nowhere). Top 3 favorite things off the cuff: 1. Falling in love 2. Amazing friends that you can really count on 3. music ( the sound of the future, the sound of fashion, the sounds of love) My children Jade and Jacob(off I go tambourine in hand kid on each hip) are the pearl and the oyster of my life. I am a Kootenay girl if you know what i mean but i swing 5 star style as easily as i can rip it like a rablerouser.

WOW-O What a year!!! I''m back on the blog. I have found another job that sometimes gives me the time to ruminate on tribe. After a long enough stint as Scar in the Gar (yes kids, Castlegar, I had family obligations to see to) I am back in town and looking for a new house to call home. This appears to be a bit of a challenge- what is this San Fran?! - frickin'' housing crisis.

I did it!! I broke my performing cherry! NOw the city undaunts me. I could take it off anywhere! just kidding. The Burlesque Festival was amazing. So many wonderful performers! My favorite being Little Woo, who spellbound the audience with shadow puppets and a bird like lilting song. I learned that DIVA means virginwhore. So... another successful show completed. Many thanks go out to all who participated and made it so fun and smooth. My sincere appologies to those who couldn't get in. The Royal is such a small venue and we must stick to capacity. My next show will be at the Capitol Theatre on May 17. There will be plenty of room for everybody!! ANd it will be a burlesque show like no other!
