My first Thanksgiving in California, I had to eat at the KFC in Alameda due to my mother throwing a tantrum and my father caving in to her. Here I am in California less then a week. Don't know anyone in town other then my parents. Driving around aimlessly, I find the KFC in Alameda. Emerson. Started "Grand Central Winter" by Lee Stringer. Stringer was homeless in NYC for about a dozen years. A former crack addict who one day came to the conclusion his pencil could be used for something other than scraping out a crack pipe.
