a few days rest

Well, nothing like a few well deserved days off. Bryan's going to Ohio to watch his baby brother kick butt in triathalon nationals. Peter's gonna perfect his softball swing. James is going to live it up at a few barbeques around the neighborhood. Robby? he's got a few roads he's been itching to drive his car down. We'll see everyone next week at Slims.

The Mezzanine....

We've never played for 1200 people before. Let's put a comma, in there. 1,200, there we go, that should further emphasize that night. What fun. Mezzanine & DJ AM....thanks for having us!!!

What a stage that place has. Both shows we've played there, the sound has been spectacular. Plus, Travis is such a cool guy. G's, that guy is sincerely, a nice guy. Props to him, and his staff. Dressing rooms and free drinks didn't hurt either ;) At any rate, small and large shows have their merits. Small one's are usually a bit more intimate, but when the sound is done really well at large one's, it's surprising how you can have just as much fun.

One more show. DuNord. Monday night for the Mission Creek Music Festival. After this one, we'll be taking a breather for a few weeks. You know, travel a bit, maybe go out on a date, catch up with dusting, fold some towels, etc.. Out of curiosity, we might flirt with a producer or two, to see how we could better or recordings on the upcoming album. We can record ourselve pretty good, but we never seem to get the tracks very loud on the cd. Funny, cuz we're sure loud live...
