Bloodletting...

Love poem

   Thu, July 27, 2006 - 3:31 PM
The way You
grasped my arm
hoping I would
stay

To comfort your
heart
like a quiet
temper tantrum

like a child might throw
when mommy leaves
and they
desperately
don't
want her
to
go

I wish
I could pull
you
inside
my heart
inside
my
skin

Give you
my strength
when we're
apart

I saw
the look
in your
eyes
your hands
wrap
around my
arm

and I
cry

I wish I could make all the monsters go away.
And leave just
you
and
me

Hoping I will
stay...

I almost forgot about this poem! I promise, I won't forget again. I remember that day vividly. Thank you so much for being so intuitive. I love you!

one of the best poems i've seen you write. I completely related to it. It gave a nice feel.
