Its hard to believe that this week we will be celebrating our 7 year Anniversary at Satellite Wednesdays at Anu. I've seen many changes over the years in the dance music scene in San Francisco. Many friends who met at our parties over the years got married and some have kids. The city has spawned about a million new DJs jockeying for time behind the decks at one of the many new spots that have chucked a booth in their space to accommodate. On Wednesday nights alone there is about 10 other parties going on besides ours. What is now referred to as minimal techno is nothing more than the progressive house sound of 12 years ago come full circle. I do feel very lucky to still be a part of and continuing to host some of the best and biggest djs from around the word at our intimate little spot. I wonder now many more years we will be doing this. Only time will tell.
If you have ever been over the many years thanks for the support!

It's hard to believe how much the furry animals can be in our lives until they are gone. Even though time has gone by I don't feel any less sad then the day she passed away. Some days I think I see her out of the corner of my eye but when I turn she is gone. I also never realized how great her gift was for making people feel better when they were down. We shared the same date of birth at the end of this month. I miss our dog.
