For 9 years before joining BusinessWeek, Scott was a foreign correspondent with ABC News, reporting from over 40 countries from a Geneva, Switzerland base. Scott's work for ABC News included many assignments in Africa -- Zaire, Congo-B, Zambia, Tanzania, Sudan, Senegal, Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, and Chad -- plus repeated visits to Pakistan, India, Brazil, Indonesia, and 25 more countries.
Scott came to ABC News from National Public Radio, where he was the producer of the Saturday and Sunday editions of All Things Considered.
