For 9 years before joining BusinessWeek, Scott was a foreign correspondent with ABC News, reporting from over 40 countries from a Geneva, Switzerland base. Scott's work for ABC News included many assignments in Africa -- Zaire, Congo-B, Zambia, Tanzania, Sudan, Senegal, Nigeria, Morocco, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, and Chad -- plus repeated visits to Pakistan, India, Brazil, Indonesia, and 25 more countries.

Scott came to ABC News from National Public Radio, where he was the producer of the Saturday and Sunday editions of All Things Considered.

As the chairman of more than 100 business conferences for BusinessWeek and other publications of The McGraw-Hill companies, Scott Shuster is one of the world's most experienced leaders of CEO-only, CFO-only and CIO-only gatherings where senior executives address corporate issues. Scott leads meetings on banking, construction, defense, economic development, energy, the environment, healthcare, homeland security, information technology, insurance, international direct investment, manufacturing, operations management, real estate, telecommunications, and transportation.
