Scott is a fabulous photographer!! I love the work he does and how he always shoots me just at the right time! Some of my very favorite pics were taken by Scott. *And* he is such a sweetheart, which is important in a photographer! I *heart* Scott!!

If it werent for Scotts Love of photography as well as the love to see bellydancing, I wouldnt have my gorgeous photos of my performances from the Medca Hafla and Desert Dance! It is really great to have a talented photographer clicking away at the camera at these events! We are so lucky to have him here in the Bay Area! He got some fabulous shots that I am greatful to have. He really captured my dance in the photos!

Photography has long been a passion of mine and when my wife started belly dancing I naturally started photographing her. I then photographed other dancers and I found myself really drawn into the community. From my perspective, I really enjoy the diversity within the community and the various forms beauty presents itself in.
As I've gotten more involved in the community, I really feel like part of the larger family.

Shayna is correct, RAW files are basically the sensor data dumped to a file without any settings applied (they're even in color even though the JPEGs were B&W). They're also 16 bit files (vs. the 8 bit JPEG) so there's more room to work with.

Awesome picks, Tim! I was going through them and there were a few even I liked, and you know how I'm my own worse critic. The B&W worked for this. If you want the RAW files, let me know.

I can't believe it's already here. Time flies when you get old :). The workshops start tomorrow and then from the 16th to the 18th I'm going to be a busy guy. 4 hours of photography on Friday, 12 on Saturday and 9 on Sunday. I'm going to do my level best to keep my butt-in-chair (so to speak) the whole time, so on the days my friends are there please do come by and say hi, though I may end up sending you on a food run :).
