I can't believe it's already here. Time flies when you get old :). The workshops start tomorrow and then from the 16th to the 18th I'm going to be a busy guy. 4 hours of photography on Friday, 12 on Saturday and 9 on Sunday. I'm going to do my level best to keep my butt-in-chair (so to speak) the whole time, so on the days my friends are there please do come by and say hi, though I may end up sending you on a food run :). I think I'm going to make sandwiches and stuff again this year, it worked out well last year.

I have to say that I really do appreciate Saqra allowing me to return this year and being so photographer friendly.

The only downside to the weekend is it's also Tribal Throwdown and unfortunately I can't be at two places at the same time. I hope TT goes off well and for those friends of mine going, break a leg and all that :).

Why did you serve?

I'm feeling kinda patripoetic, so bear with me.

"Why did you serve?" asked the man as he burned the flag.

"So you can do what do now."

"Why did you serve?" asked the woman with her banner.

"So you can say what will and always have that right."

"Why did you serve?" asked the student wearing her peace sign.

"To bring about that which you love most"

"Why did you serve?" asked the little boy.

As I laid my hand on his shoulder, "For you."
