Went to a party in downtown SF. I'm wearing my belly dancing outfit that I made 10 years ago... I wear it for class and performances, so I feel very comfortable in it.

Power was out from Monday morn till Thursday morn. Here I am in the front yard (aka 1 acre meadow...) walking the long dirt road to get to the paved road to see what trees have fallen over the lines to prevent us from getting power. We don't get this kind of snow up here. Freaky weather before the year is over. As I type this we are in for a windstorm warning to hit at midnight. Expecting 50 mph gusts. Despite all this, I will miss having "weather" when I return to California.

The REAL reason I flew down to SF that weekend...
