My colleague Amanda and I are excited to announce the launch of our new website for the Free Write Jail Arts and Literacy Program, www.freewritejailarts.org. The website features poetry, creative writing and art by youth in detention, including our latest issue of the Free Write Web Zine.

Site is not quite complete. Staff bios will be corrected/more comprehensive. More student work will be added constantly. Music, writing, spoken word, attention given to the program by the media, links to allies and social services posted, etc. If you know of groups, artists, agencies, or str8 up good peeps who have a web presence, contact me!

We would love to hear any of your feedback and ideas for making the website even better. Please send me or post your thoughts.
