The minor anxiety attack has begun. I gave notice and my landlord has already asked me to show the apartment. Today! I did, and it is already rented. This means it's for real. I must discard crap and pack and find a place to live. The biggest fear is no one will love Gus and the sleeping fur balls as much as I do. Oh and then there is the Job factor. The trip up to SF was eventful - that is - it was worthwhile. I know that I need to go where I can be free. Freedom to be a Woman, to fit in a physical form of my own desire, to find an educational/politial niche... It was a good run in sunny Socal, unfortunately with the political climate I just can't make a go of it. so tomorrow I go north to assess the housing situation. hopefully, I will be able to find something affordable and workable for my "kids" and I. Ideally, we will find a place that has a little more room, but after 4.5 years in a studio - I don't think they are any worse for wear. It's all about the love and care and in gus's case, how comfortable the bed is. I swear, that's all he does.

Getting ready to move is just no fun. I hate sorting through all the crap I've accumulated. Ug. Where did half this stuff come from? Why won't it just disappear magically on it's own? Myriads of pens and 1/2 used pencils...Notebooks, binders...post-its. Dusty things under my bed..a wire brush that actually belongs in my car. How did it get in here? I don't remember bringing it in. Ahh! Mz Laura Frances! !La Dona Rana! She's wonderful! Her heart is huge and refreshing like her Gus's kisses! Her beautiful, wild hair is a reflection of her soul. Her apartment like a mini animal love zoo. She LOVES the critters! And I love that about her! She's a fucking genius! A sexy librarian! I have a feeling there's a fascinating story behind every freckle. She's beautiful, loving, a great friend, and a genius. What more could you want?
