Jeanette is superwoman. Not only does she hunt, make beer, sew, eat sushi, and garden, but she also has time to be my best friend and listen to me bitch. She rocks!!! Oh yeah and she ALSO has mad skills with the nun-chucks, I've seen it.

I've been described as a country girl, a man's woman, or I make men feel useless. I hunt and fish, love the outdoors, love the diy stuff and playing with dead things. I make beer, mead, and fruit wine (if the wildlife thing doesn't pan out Plan B is to have my own brewery).
My ultimate goal is to grow/raise/hunt/fish all my own food and preserve it. I love cutting & splitting my own wood. I have too many animals (5! cats, 1 dog, 3 ducks, 2 turkeys and 2 chickens) and I want more. I want to make my own cheese. I take on too many projects at one time, which is something I'm working on this year! I love sushi and thai food. I am hugely Scottish-American and love everything celtic. I play adult soccer. I teach shotgun classes and hunter safety. I am a closet nerd and love the Sci-Fi channel and have been known to play WoW (but not in a long time). I also like Warhammer (because my brother loves it) and will play video games. I want to go to conventions and dress up. I like Renaissance faires. I love doing yoga, and I really recommend it to everyone because not only does it help increase your flexibility, but it allows to you slow down and have 'me' time. At least that is how I see it. The first time I did yoga I felt so light and... happy is the only word to describe the feeling. And I've come to a gradual epiphany over the last year of doing yoga. I met Gordan of Heidrun Meadery in Arcata yesterday, and after talking with him for an hour and a half and seeing how his operation works for sparkling mead, I decided that I needed to stop talking and make some more mead before I drank all of what I have left of my first batch.

Back to school after a crazy, work-filled summer. It's good to be back, I have a lot of the same people in my classes, which is a first now! I've been looking forward to having the same classes with people, but as the same time I'm getting to the point where school is... well it's a lot of time and I want to be working and making money for toys! And I miss my friends in the bay area.

I've been wanting to do this for a while, and now I can! I am not on the computer everyday though, so I won't be posting that regularly. And I'm not quite sure what a blog is either, is it an online diary? I can do that.
