My life is now about to finally begin, the way i would like it (with Master's approval of course hehe). i am in a new home and i am all recouped from some pretty serious/urgent surgery. For the first time in nearly 16 or so years, i am on my own and want to finally experience the life i want to lead........ Now i only wish there was a munch in the FAR FAR FAR east bay, maybe i should think of starting one.
Have a great week!

After just starting a really flexible job w/ a nice boss, i was offered the job of a lifetime. I beat hundreds of applicants, 3 interviews, etc. and I got it!!!!!! Holy crap. i am humbled by gettting this postion in a type of setting you can feel good about yourself. And i am closer then ever to reaching that final weight goal.........only 9 darn pounds to go. WOW. Next is finding a place of my own, and to hit the lottery LOL. Thank god it's a buyers market now. It's amazing how your life can go through so many ups and downs, opened doors and closed doors. But the only constant aspects in my life are my daughter, wonderful family, and a strong Master who guides and encourages every single step of the way. Through the good and the challenges. You are my foundation of strength.

Well after almost 5 months of being laid off, i have finally started working again. Flexible hours, work from home, nice business owner, fair pay....i will take what i can get. An added plus, this job's flexible schedule will still allow me to do continue training for what i really want to do. Now all i need is a cheap place to live in the rar East Bay and a new car. Hey, one thing at a time right? i can't conquer the world in one day......at least not today.

Thanks to many of you who have written or replied w/ caring messages, your support has been taken to heart!! It has been a tough few months....Damn, that new home industry. But i see the light aproaching.

Ciao!

Does is make a person weak to be so moved by music. As i listen to some jazz (the great Mike Stern) while doing my homework, my mind moves from what i should be accomplishing to analyzing my relationship and my life. And simultaneously brings a smile to my face. Oh, those few little notes can do wonders!

Today is one of those days that remind me of being at college and saying fuck-it, no class for me today. It's beautiful here in the East Bay. Not a cloud in the sky, then there is usually never a cloud in the sky here. What a great day it has been. No, no job in sight yet. It's just one of those "Turn up my iPOD / clean the house/ open a window or two and watch the golfers drive by....................and give a kiss to Master" kind of days............sigh.

At the moment i am so dissapointed in myself for not getting a degree in a meaningful or should i say a more accepted field.
i never in a million years thought i would be going back to school......but here i am taking 2 classes towards a brand new career. i assumed a Bachelors degree would be fine to get me along in life, but NO was I naive. It's funny how much I actually enjoy going back to school. i appreciate it so much more this time around. And when you are surrounded by others who are there because they WANT to be there, rather then it's just the next step in life, makes all the difference in the world.

what we want in life

Why are the 'things' we want in life, usually the ones that seem so damn hard to get. Alot of this blog journaling is to aid myself in "self-discovery". When i write something down, it becomes reality and i need to face it head-on. As a pisces....i am by nature a dreamer and sometimes it doesn't become reality until it's on paper. Or i guess you could say i don't want to face it until it's on paper. LOL

Maybe it's those 'things' that are so damn hard to obtain are truly the most important. And those 'things' are there to teach us a lesson or a value or a new way of thinking, even if they are (or seem) unobtainable. And before we can even covet those "things" they have already affected our lives.

i have come to realize in life that 1) i have the patience of a saint when it comes to work, family, etc. 2) when i want something i can't have..........i run out of patience, but i don't run from it. I actually embrace it more.

Job hunting is so much fun!
Ciao,

How easily i forget how cold a 10 degree day can feel....my daughter and i have been "home" visiting my folks in Good Old Green Bay, WI. It's amazing how different it is here every time i return. The town seems smaller and smaller w/ each visit. But what doesn't change are the people and how nice they are....most everyone is so polite and eager to wish you well. And everyone will gladly talk about the Packers with you. That is what i really like about this city. The sheer kindness of most people. In California you don't find that wide spread genorosity like you do in the midwest.
