On the bottom left of pic, Bettina is playing the coolest instrument. It is a bowl that you rub with a stick and makes a beautiful moaning sound...and vibrates too!
Yeah, that's a Tibetan singing bowl. I have a couple of them. They're great for gonging or singing. They're meant to be used for meditation; they help you get "tuned in!" Shab... can't wait to meet you some day. I LOVE this pic. Precious to the max. ;)
Oh wait... I just noticed that the bowl she's using is one of those crystal ones - large. Not tibetan, but the same idea. Beautiful too. The Tibetan ones are usually hand pounded from brass and much smaller to fit in your hand.
