Augie's a great friend, and awesome DJ and I bet he's a top notch office schlep too. He's like me sometimes, just not as loud. It seems like we usually have a similar idea running through our heads at times at least. I wonder what it'll be next. See you on the hill top.

Listen up folks. I've known Unagi since we were in Kindergarten. That's a long ass time to know someone, thirty years, and you know what I'm still glad to call him my friend. He is a survivor, a great DJ,smart, and a good person overall. So my advice to everyone is get to know him. Erik

Augie, hmm... I've known this amazing person for many year's now. All I have to say about him is great things. He's one of the most amazing Dj's I've ever heard. He's a great friend and always willing to help out for the right reasons. A very reliable and warm person. Hes a big teddy bear *giggle* and one of the best friends I've ever had. A good person to know. I've been very proud to know him and have the opporotunity to be a friend of his. He's got a big heart and a good head on his sholders. Augie man, you rock, everyone you meet and know should be lucky to know you and have you as a friend.

this guy is the most honest and dependable person I know.
he's genuine and to the point.
he doesn't mess around wit crack,
and you won't find him talking shit about somebody unless it's to try and boosten his already dynamic wit....and he does it pretty well.....but he can't keep a straight face when he does it......so that kind of makes him just......a real sweet heart.......augie.......i must confess.......i love you man!

Belated Yuri's night review, & gig on Friday.....

Yuri's Night

I had felt envious of those who made it to Yuri's last year. I heard so many stories about it being such a fun time. I was on a road trip that had starti that night. This year I made it and wow. That was too much fun for words. I had never imagined an event like that on NASA property and it was off the chain.

I saw a lot of folks I haven't seen in a while, if only for a minute. There was quite a few pieces from Burning Man out on the tarmac. A lot of geekery and smart peeps involved in the planning, presentations, and execution of this event. I was very impressed.

NEWS FLASH: I danced for hours!!! I don't ever dance!!! Yes, I've got some rhyim Tipper, Amon Tobin, Ganucheau vs Toast, John Tejada were the highlights for me. Danced my ass off for all of them. Amon played the glitchiest dubstep midway through his set and actually kept me interested for a little while.

Thanks you guys for putting together such an awesome event. I couldn't find one person that did not have a spectacular time. Good job!!

WoM will be having an Art Opening Party on the 15th! of March.

Here are the details.

1) Spin Jam
We are welcoming back the sun into the soon to be spring sky with a revisiting of an old friend to some and an energetic new experience for others. Spin Jam, a long running kinetic open studio has been a venue for fire dancers, capaoristas , martial artists ass shakers and dance breakers to get their sweat on to phat beats since the early part of the decade in SF.
Spin Jam has been through many venues and many incarnations and WoM is proud to host it on Monday the 25th.

Musical Monkeys of the Evening:

When: February 25th. 9pm to Midnight.
Location: City Dance Studios @ 10 Colton St in San Francisco.

Cost: Donation based only to help cover rent for the space for the evening and gas for the drivers.

2) Prospectus or MEAT

WoM will be helping host the work of The Connectivists artist collective
At the Goforalop Gallery in San Francisco. On Saturday, March 15th, from 7pm to 9pm, eight different artists will showcase their original works of art in a fantastic new venue tucked away in the mission district.
This event begins with a free reception where you are all invited to enjoy the works of art brought together, while enjoying a tasty beverage and listening to live music. The Reception starts at 7pm and is totally free admission until 9pm when we kick it up a notch.
At 9pm we raise the energy and begin to get down and get right funky.
