Shahravar is one of the most beautiful dancers I have ever seen. As one who looks for subtleties and detail in performances, Shahravar's style so delicate and deliberate, she is entrancing to watch.

Shahravar is not only a beautiful dancer, She is beautiful to the core. A great teacher of many things as well as a great friend. Shahravar has much to offer. She is humble and yet majestic. I love her poise and confidence. Her dancing is timeless. I could watch her for hours. I miss you Shah. See you soon at the Rachel Brice Show! Amina

Wyoming Workshop with Shahravar!
October 27th and 28th, 2007
This Fall Enrichment session will run from 11:00a.m-2:00p.m Saturday and 11:00a.m-2:00p.m Sunday. This will be a Multi-Level Belly Dance workshop so every dancer will find something benifical.
Each day we will take a 15minute break mid session so please feel free to bring H2o/fitness beverage and a light snack too.

Look Forward to a fun Khallegi Workshop this Fall with Shahravar!
October 28th 2007 5:30pm-8:00pm
Our focus will be using The Khalleji rhythm and Thobe Nashal from the Saudi Gulf.
If you do not have a Thobe bring a large veil to practice.
We will work on History, Technique, Styling, Combo's, and working in pair's and groups too.
If you Pre-Register for this workshop I can send you a pattern to sew your own Thobe.
(These are the beautiful big dresses used for a woman's social dance from the Arabic Gulf. They are very loose and have embroidered front panels. Often the seams are also decorated. The backs are a bit simpler.A realistic thobe can be made from a sari. With careful cutting the decorated portion can be used for the front panel.)

Thursday evenings at DF Studio are never more...
Hi Bellies,
I am sorry to post that I have cancelled the Thursday evening classes, at the DF Latin dance studio.
I must apologize for the short notice but I was just informed today. That the studio is not available.
Please feel free to come to my Saturday afternoon class at the Central City Recreation center 600 South 300 East Salt Lake City, Utah
