Since 6 years old, I have been practiced every kind of dance: Artistic Gymnastic, Regional Dance, Jazz Dance, Samba, Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Art & Dance) Gypsi, Tribal Style, Tribal Fusion and Bellydance, the last one my passion. The word "Bellydancer" is a modern term that comes from Bellydance, meaning belly dancing, while Raqs Sharki and Bellydance literally means the same thing, we must finds that bellydance style covers a larger derivative of earlier, this term would apply par excellence to all that a dancer who uses the belly dancing as a mode of expression, but not necessarily pure, but enriched by the merger of other disciplines (classical, jazz and many more).
