I'm single--divorced. I never had kids because I didn't particularly want to. I think this beautiful planet is entirely overpopulated. I really appreciate humor and can certainly laugh but I'm not great at generating it. My friends say I'm fun and playful, so that's cool. I am fascinated by people! I love browsing you guys' profiles and photos, and reading what you've written!

I work as an Admin Asst. to three groups of applied mathematicians who supply algorithms for astrophysics, fluid mechanics, and all kinds of other research, and some high performance computer wizards at a national laboratory.

I love to dabble in lots of stuff. I'm a certified Master Gardener who's never had a garden! LOL! I was certified as a Kalos health practitioner. I've taken sailing lessons on the Bay and was on an all-girl racing team for one season--albeit as a "grinder." I took 18 wks of French cooking lessons and 9 wks of Indian vegetarian cooking lessons. I'm now learning beading. I'm an intermediate dancer--learned all the ballroom dances, Latin dances, Argentine tango, and both West and East Coast swing. I was in toastmasters for awhile and gave speeches to the County Board of Supes, the Red Cross at the hospital in Stockton, an Episcopalian Men's Group, the Calaveras Co. Chamber of Commerce, etc. in a major fundraising effort in which we raised $500K to qualify for a state grant to build a new library bldg. That's my biggest accomplishment. I did it as a volunteer.

I've rappeled off a mountain, showed my horse at the Idaho State Fair, had a major enlightenment experience, danced East Coast swing on TV once.

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!
