Light of Friendship ........................
(thanks john so much for yr precious and wonderful poems.. sorry for all the late reply..anyway..I'm so happy and grateful to hv you as a friend......) I've seen the light And it's in you, In everything you are And in everything you do It's a perfect light That shines for all to see It radiates from you And has pierced the heart of me The light is from a friend. It's a light that keeps me warm. It lets me know how loved I am, And keeps me safe from harm To you my friend I am thankful, In each and every way. For you lift my spirits up, With every passing day To know that you are there for me It makes me feel alive Because it is your friendship's light Upon which my love thrives "Thank you" isn't good enough But they're the only words I know It is your light of friendship That gives my world it's glow March 9, 2008

Ahh…Yes! The opening of professional football season. After yesterday in the back yard I am ready to be a couch potato for today. I laid on the heating pad most of last night and I still have a few spasms going on today. I had planned it to be this way. I got the projects cleaned up enough to leave for a week at least. So with that I wish everyone a good opening day!

My yard is in total shambles. My back problems have prevented me from doing yard work for over 2 years and here in the fertile, mild Willamette valley certain plants grow very fast. The number one problem plant is the Blackberry. Very tasty but the wild ones have lots of thorns and are quite invasive. The birds eat the berries and sit in my Pine tree and shit out the seeds, how lovely is that? When you miss either a fall or spring season to clear them out the vines creep across the ground a... read more
It is now after Labor Day, I try and fight the good fight, it is 95 degrees outside and I am out there bending, twisting, shoveling, trying to get my back in shape again. Yes, I am doing it during the heat of the day to try and keep my muscles loose. Dorky hat huh? Believe it or not the crocheted cotton makes it by far cooler then straw or a mesh baseball cap. I can dunk this one in cold water and it will work wonders. The wheel turns within and so I prepare for the coming darkness by trying...

My back has been bad for over 2 years now. I am starting to clear out what I can to work magick and make this yard fun for me again. A large branch from my pine tree was hanging too low and so I decided to amputate it and then the idea struck me for a very large dream catcher. I re-opened a cut and so it ends up with my blood on it. When I think about it this is very appropriate for this time of year and urges me on for death/rebirth ceremony/ritual. It was about this time of year when an old...

Well, Labor Day has come and gone. It is now time to think of turning within and what you will be doing during the dark half of the year. The energies of this season are the coming together of friends and family. If I can be of assistance in any way let me know, my door is open and all friends are welcome.
