Mateo is a multideminsional doorway, he will bow divinity into everystep you take.
Look into his eyes and a ghost stares back at you, its the ephemeral love of all the moments guilt and fear took hold of you and you forgot.
Listen to the tabla's and you will remember inner rythym.
Listen to his poetry and you will bare the fruit of your own heart unfolding to give you gold.
He is a deep friend and very much missed in the flesh, so if you get to view him in the flesh cherish the moments you have.

Collaborate in rhyme
maintain an asylum
Of folks
that have chosen to be an island
Of vagaries
But still
post in the land of profanity
in hopes that sanity
means a freedom of mind
that seeks to bring
calamity
to an unhinged system of sins
not a cluster of grins
or a cistern of sinister wishes
that have festered
under duress
of a system
that seeks to feed
on the needs
of lust
we must trust that
love moves mountains
and crush memes
that shrink the seams
of sound design
We’re bound to find
That beneath the crust
Is only a crime
And a crime
of coarse
is only a lesson
then dressed by myth
to the teller
only confession
A glorious aspect
of death
hitech
invention
effected through
natural selection
about me
Who am I?
Born of sky.
Chosen strife,
whole soul on the rise.
Wings in flight
a dance of light
lace up your loose ends
and give me a try.
Until I went to see these guys it had been a couple months since I'd seen a show. And even longer, I'm talkin a decade or so, since I've seen some really amazing reggae. But, yo kids! The Taonator must has't ta step up and tell the chitlins when the golden voice harkens. And thus such is such. So check it out, go out and buy a CD. I'm sure you'll find these guys as ecstaticly amazing as I. Jah Love!

Well, its been two months for me here in Moscow, Idaho and I must say that I've been truly missing my Portland. Its always been hard for me to make new friends, and as a result I've felt a bit alienated from the folks around this area, but that has helped in certain ways. Without lots of friendship obligations I've been able to keep my nose to the grindstone and focus on my studies. I'm two months into a nine month massage therapy program, and school has been going great! Its definitely challenging to be back in school, especially when the program is so concentrated, but I'm doing all I can to make the most of it, and I can sure say that I'm excited to be making a break away from the hustle and stresses of the restaurant world. Its also been super fantastic ultra amazing awesome to have the Taoist Hermitage here to help balance the mental challenges with some deep energy work.
However, a man can only be without his beloved city for so long before the ticks start to kick in, and that time has come. I'm going to be heading into Portland this weekend for a couple days to soak up some good lovin for the next couple months of scholastic endeavors. I was recently informed that Howl is this weekend, and though I've never been too, too stoked about this event, it will be a wonderful chance to catch up with some folks and to shake my booty to some bombacious aural fixation.
If anyone would like to share some time over the weekend I'll be in town from Saturday evening to Monday afternoon. You can reach me on me celly at 503-778-0033.
I hope it rains!
Mucho Amor,
Mateo

Remember when we used to tame our talents in accord with the sun and moon's balance? Precarious at best, at least we could vest our endeavors to reflect the natural elaborations of the world we've grown accustomed to inhabit? You know I'm talkin about outdoor events that help us to ascend and blend our arts to transcend a culture we've been alienated from. With no myth to elevate a true vision some become transparent, and we as a people we must inhabit a view of life unlike has come before. This is the psychedelic sound we adore. And without a visionary core of truth seekers there is nothing left to grow beyond the confines that have conditioned us in a blind and programmed sense of worth where our celebrations of life are worth.... not.
Please engage. There is little time left until the summer solstice. All of our outdoor venues have been negated due to NW condtitions. Though there must be some place we can place two turntables and an Om. A small dance area would be a plus, and a few folks that trust hope would be even better!
We are in the last phase....if you've got a lot, give a holler....
Peace.
