Life interacts, and so must we. Without detaching, without excuses, looking into the eyes of our own existence and becoming comfortable with what looks back allows for an embodied existence. Healing our lives in small, simple steps, moment to moment, day to day, new life is always possible; like butterflies from chrysalis, each of us has the power of complete transformation. By retreating into brief periods of self-containment we allow ourselves the chance of reflective understanding. Through awareness of movement, sound, silence, and breath we are able to reveal paths of personal transformation of which we, ourselves, are often unaware.




Acknowledging imperfection and striving for her own personal truths, Shamsi's path has led her through a series of meditative, movement-driven, musical and sound practices that allow her the unique ability to reach into the depths and find that which is most important in her own life. It is her desire to share these practices with the hope and intention to help others cast off images and perceptions, molds and stereotypes allowing every individual a chance at personal truth.
