I was born at the moment of the Spring Equinox, in the instant between the end of the old year and the beginning of the new, outside of time. I'm a Pisces and an Aries -- the fiery Aries passion and drive burning in the deep watery realm of spirit and emotion. I am either fully at rest or fully in motion, and rarely inbetween. I've got a blackbelt in Shotokan Karate from a very traditional dojo (www.shotokan.com), I carry a medicine pipe given to me by my shamanic community which I use to perform sacred prayer work. I tend sacred fire for sweat lodges and other saced ceremony, and I lead the occasional sweat. I also perform energetic healings informed by my training in the Sufi Healing Order. I've recently started volunteering as a hospice chaplain as well. I've got 2 beautiful daughters (10 & 11) who are a big part of my life (although they don't live with me). A lot of my energy these days goes to an intentional dance community I'm part of. Professionally, I've been a cook (in college), worked in real estate (no fun!), authored books, worked as an editor, graphic designer, game designer, web designer, and energetic healer. I pay the bill these days making flash animations for the web.

I'm alive this time to meet amazing people, fellow cosmic do-gooders, beautiful sexy spirits who know we are just here for a brief while being people, so we gotta kick ass and get drunk and make love like we were dying any day now -- 'cuz we are. If God didn't want us to enjoy ourselves, then she wouldn't have manifested as us. Don't waste it.
