Yanagi Sushi Restaurant in Pismo Beach ( local favorites » restaurants ) "sushi with friends" Yanagi is a most wonderful place. The sushi is absolutely the best I've ever eaten, the service is great, and the view of the ocean at sunset can't be beat. Reasonable prices too. Go in a group, and share several different rolls!

Tres Gatos ( local favorites » bands / djs / musicians ) "Great Surf Band!" I recently discovered this band in Grover Beach. Patrick, lead guitarist and lead singer "shreds" on guitar. His surf riffs are unbelievable. A very danceable band.
