Yay, I'm going to, traveling up from Mexico. I'm hoping to be able to stay with a friend in Oakland but haven't firmed that up yet. I'll keep checking back here to see where folks are staying in case I need lodging. See y'all in April!

This is very helpful Annie. When I teach this move, I break it down one step further.
We do 1-2 and stop there. At 2 the arms should NOT be in their final position, they are still on their way, parallel to each other and at a 45 degree angl...

Okay, I'm a little confused about something. I watched the video and I saw the cue for the 1/4 turns as both arms overhead. But I thought this was the cue for a variation of the Turkish Shimmy with half turn and arm sweeps. So what's the differ...
