Jeffe, one of my favorite people, is one of the kindest guys I know. He's here for art, for humanity, to make this world a better place with actions not talk. He's a great friend, a kick-ass DJ and the one who will capture the finest expressions on film. His love shows through the video camera by what he captures (he'll catch your most candid moments, it's great - but watch out) and in person by his genuine being.
I am so happy I have been able to spend some time with Jeffe and get to know him, travel around, work together and just shoot the sh*t. He's a funny man too. A quite twisted sense of humor I appreciate. can't wait to see you at Shasta Gathering, brother. Thanks for all your great energy during my trip to oregon. Looking forward to more travels. I met this guy almost a year ago at Shasta Gathering, was greeted with a smile and a video camera. couple months later they both (the smile and the camera) came the SF, with wife too :). Couple-a more months I visit Jeffe & Layla in Oregon, finally get some time to hang out while not gigging, watched the videos, ate hummus, and had a great time. He's a wonderful soul, a genuine sweet man, and my soul-brother.

Hey everyone, welcome back to my video blog, or, vlog i guess, hehe! On Saturday Jan 5th HEMF moved over from Kona to Hilo. The Palace Theater hosted the 3rd night of HEMF, and I have to say, what a great friggin venue! WOW! Everyone had a blast and all of the djs rocked it!

Aloha! Well today I had some time to upload my edited footage from our night in Kona. There is no footage of myself playing, but I captured some shots of Layla dancing and got some great shots of the other djs rockin it! This was a very fun night! The venue was sweet! Our host Sprocket put us up in a hotel that night which was very nice, and we got a chance to connect with Chrystalline, and even today on Maui we are still hanging out, and as my good friend Kurt would say, "Havin Fun!"

Hello all! Layla and I are on Maui now, and I decided to get some shots of where we are staying. Nothing too exciting! LOL! I decided to skip ahead to Maui and edit together our remaining HEMF footage later, so this video blog series will be like a Quentin Tarantino movie! All over the place, in no specific order! LOL!

Well, the Hawaii Electronic Music Festival has come to a close as of today. What an utterly AMAZING event! I can't begin to describe how wonderful this 4 days of music has been. The first night was in Pahoa, the second in Kona, and the third in downtown Hilo. Saturday was the big night at the Palace Theater in Hilo, and I have to say I have not been to an event this off the hook in quite a while it seems! I don't own a macbook pro but I have had similar issues on my imac. I use an external hard drive that connects by fire wire 800, and I find that when I dismount the hard drive imovie will read my camera just fine. I don't know if you have anything...
