This year I have had the pleasure of attending three weddings. Lisa & Mykall, Justin & Amy... and just this past weekend Brinti & Michelle... "Shell" It was a lovely affair in Colfax, CA at Britni's parents house... palatial. I would love to live there. I mean I want a pool house :-) I also attended Fair Oaks Tudor Fayre this weekend and it was totally underwhelming. It was nice to see the few friends that turned out. The most exciting thing is that I went with Laini and Nathaniel... He is the cutest. He had this little onesie that said "Surrender the Boobies" I will post a pic in my gallery.

Hello ladies, I'm not sure if you've heard of this or have tried..... Nordstrom is changing the logo on their makeup, so they're selling everything that says 'e.l.f.' for $1!!! ( Eyes, Lips, and Face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of all the make-up in ELF packaging. They are selling everything for $1. YES ONE DOLLAR. You do have to pay shipping however, even with that charge it's cheaper than buying make-up anywhere else and it is fun to try things when you don't have to worry about the cost! They have powder, mascara, brushes, nail polish, you name it... Just thought I'd pass along the good deal. Working to get donations for Folsom Faire and it is a VERY GOOD CAUSE. We don't just need money we need material things that can be used to help our volunteers like bottled water and foodstuffs. Even things that could be little gifts for the important players. This is my first time doing this and eeeeek it is slow going. The faire benefits the Folsom Teen Center and friends of the library... not to mention funds a $500.00 educational scholarship. It is an NPO (non profit organization) All donations can be deducted from your taxes! If you can help or know someone who can help please send me a PM and I will call you to get you all the information that you need.

This is one of my most favorite photos of Miss Bianca. Taken a few years 1987 before we met. Bianca Ramos will be missed by so many. She was an icon in the Sacramento gay/lesbian/bi/transgender community. A wonderful friend, and outstanding human being. Taken from us last night at 10:02 p.m. Gone after a short 46 years on this earth. She was the epitome of love and acceptance. A true Diva without the bitchy attitude though. Just someone who always had a kind word, a smile, and a hug for all that gathered around her. She was like honey for all us bees... just shining and sweet. My heart goes out to her closest friends and family. She meant so much to so many. She will never be forgotten. We will have a hell of a party in her honor. Wednesday night I thought I would play a little ball with Luke. He is the baby of the herd. We were having a great time kicking/nudging the ball around in the field. I got to a more open spot so I was going to kick it far so he would canter after it. Well my foot connected with a big woody tree root instead of the ball. *ouch* I fell hard and said a few choice words !@$%!!! Scared poor Luke. He jumped back and froze just staring at me nostrils flaring. I sat up and was like I am okay Luke and I hobbled out of the pasture. I have a compound fracture in my big toe and I have to wear this Easy Boot contraption... they should call it The UGLY boot! Monday I go to see the Orthopedic doc to determine if I need a cast or not. I HOPE NOT!!! This means that I most likely will not be making it to Northern Faire at all this year. Frackin' Toe!!! Owhatagooseiam!

She was thinner than I remember and looked like she would break if you didn’t use extreme caution. Dylan was with James a day early, to make this visit from mommy dearest possible. Some part of me wanted to believe my secret was safe but come on, she had to know about my kid. James had informed me that he and Ann Marie were taking a break? WTF does that mean exactly? She had gone back home to spend some time with her family and to decide if being married to James was what she really wanted or so she said. It was clear that James thought she was bluffing, she even accused him of being in love with me. Goddamn if I didn’t see hope flicker across the bastards face when he ran that one by me. I ignored him, kissed Dylan goodbye and told them both I would see them on Sunday. By the time Dotty had shown up I had already had one Martini finished off and I was looking forward to the second. She had gotten dressed up for the occasion, wearing what I am sure was one of her best church suits at one time. When I opened the door she immediately asked to use “the little girls room”. Jesus—that was the kind of cutesy term she would use for public consumption when I was kid. I walked around the house sipping my Martini wondering what she was going say and when she walked out of the door this time and how long it would be before I saw her again. Don had a catered lunch delivered. Elegant little sandwiches, deserts and tea service—foo foo shit. When she finally sauntered into the dining room she clasped her hand together in delight at the spread. I am so sorry to have to post this on a blog, however, I just can not call everyone that she has touched. I spoke with Lester aka The Rocking Horse guy.... and Cindy took her own life yesterday. I just can not believe it. This is the blog that Lester posted. <<It's Sunday evening, and I have bad news. Cindy took her own life this afternoon. I am still in shock, and I don't think it has really set in yet. I loved her with all my heart, everybody did. She was a wonderful woman. She had lots of friends, and I am in no condition to call and talk to everyone. I held her in my arms til the paramedics took her away, and it was the most painful thing I have ever gone through. When I find out any information about a funeral, I will post it here. Please, everybody send her your best wishes, she loved you all.>> Words can not express this loss. I am so mad at her! Why did she have to do this??? I will miss her so much

I got out of the hospital after only staying one evening. OMG you can not get any rest there for anybody who has had to have surgery or be hospitalized you know. They wake you up every fracking hour!!! There is no rest for the weary. Also there were two other people in the room with me. One they had to take out in the middle of the night to go to intensive care... so the checking up is important... It just sucks when you are getting a good sleep on and they turn on the bright overhead lights and stick needles in you!!! Anyway I got lots of flowers and visitors. My Codybear stayed with me that evening until visiting hours were over. <3 I have just been doing a lot of relaxing... I am in some pain but not so bad... except when I sneeze, cough, or laugh! :-)
