So many adjectives spinning around in my head....Okay, here goes: Shazadi is AMAZING, powerful, graceful, strong, sweet, focused, generous, warm, engaging, intelligent, organized, beautiful inside and out, inspiring, and absolutely driven. I view Michele as another mentor on my dance journey and another reason why I am so drawn to ATS. She is STELLAR as a person and performer. She is creative and never stops pushing the envelope to find a more complex and intricate way to present this dance. I am definitely a fan!!!!!

There is'n't much more one can say about Michelle that hasn't already been said. Since my first day in her class three months ago I have been continually amazed, mesmerized and motivated by this woman. She not only welcomed me to her studio and help me develop and improve the tribal moves as a student, but also believed in me enough to give me the chance to dance with the Benu Dance Company for my first performance ever during the Tribal Dreams Festival this year. Her hard work and dedication made this event run to perfection. I can thank her enough for making me feel as one of her troupe throughout and I will forever remember my time dancing with her and the others.

OMG! Tribal Dreams 2006 Saturday night show was simply AMAZING! The show opened with a STELLAR performance by Benu Dance Company – the best, most powerful, dynamic, and engaging performance they have ever presented. I mean, Benu always rocks it when on stage, but tonight's performance was at a whole new level. Simply amazing. Smooth transitions. And to LIVE DRUMMING by Baladi Smash! It was just awesome.
Michelle is among the best of Tribal and one of the kindest, most professional dancers I know. Glad to call her a friend and a sister in dance. I can't wait until Tribal Dreams 2007!!! Thank you, Michelle, for everything you do for the dance. May 9, 2006
Michelle is an inspiration to me. She has a strength of purpose that carries over into everything she does. She is a beautiful and powerful dancer, and also a wonderful friend. I feel lucky to know her!

Ah, Michele...what can I say about her that hasn't already been said? A fabulous dancer, a great teacher and an all around nice person. Michele has a kind of charisma that is hard to describe. It's magnetic as JT said. Her stare says, "Come hither, but not TOO close." There is power in her eyes and her dance and it moves me deeply.

I love to dance, as long as there is music playing, I will be dancing!! I love to spend time with friends (especially the wonderful women of Benu!), listening to good music, hiking, camping, swimming, cooking and baking, and reading a good book. I enjoy doing Henna and needlework . And can be easily bribed with really good dark lucious chocolate!!
