Ya Hallal Y'all
Well, this month I went down South to this year's Ya Hallal Y'all which Isis and her Dance Stars always feature. It was a terrific weekend, especially seeing all my friends from California. I couldn't have been happier to see Rachel, Tobias, Zoe Jakes, Susu, and Fatheim. There was also the Bellydance madames Aneena and Dhyanis. It was like a mini-Rakkasah, and definitely my happiest day of 2008! Not only did I win Runner-Up in the Male dance category, but I also had dinner with Rachl, Zoe Jakes, and Tobias at the Boston Pizzeria down in Grapevine. And seeing them was worth more to me thank anything! I love all of you!

Drum Circle at DragonCon
Well, I went to the DragonCon 2007 sci-fi convention in Atlanta, GA over the Labor Day weekesd. And can you believe that for 3 straight nights, they had a fabulous bellydance drum circle! Not just tribal, but many other style dancers as well. It definetly made my trip much more worthwhile. I loved every moment of it!
