She's Gone....

I thought, somehow, at 25 this would be easier...it's not. I love her more than I love most people!
So, RIP my sweet little girl. Love you.

I am not sure quite what to say, as I know pets can become like family, and this loss is therefor so difficult.
My heart goes out to you! I believe the spirit continues on after people pass, and I believe this in essence is no less true with animals. You have given her much love and a happy home. She is still there, whenever you think of her. |

It's never easier...and it's hard to be an adult and say "Let her go so she isn't in any more pain" but she is better for it. It took me a long time to not feel guilty for doing the same for my ferret. You will feel her tonight telling you thank you...you will smell her when she returns to snuggle and tell you that she is ok, and happy, and strong again....and to tell you she loves you and thank you for everything you gave her.

Take comfort in this... you gave her so many good things in this lifetime, a true bond of love and friendship, nourishing care, cozy shelter and protection, and now, a peaceful exit.
