What can I say about the HIP and COOL Sherry?
I am reminded of the words of that great band Queen - "She keeps Moet et Chandon, In a pretty cabinet, Let them eat cake, she says, Just like Marie Antoinette ..." Sherry is a true original, not a copy, in every sense of the word - even her spelling is highly original - any yahoo can write the word "scissors", but when she writes "sizzers", she makes a simple household object really "sizz" ... You can't imagine how great she is without experiencing her company for yourself - as Steely Dan wrote (allegedly about someone named "Josie", but obviously about Sherry): "So good She's the pride of the neighborhood She's the raw flame The live wire She prays like a Roman With her eyes on fire" So don't be one of the tarriers or latecomers - be one of the few, the proud, the unique who connect up with Sherry at this early point in her unbelievably cool life ..." dayum... sherry's got this talent to get some major heat going, even in all innocence. she's done the things one can only dream of doing, then makes you wish you could do the things she makes you dream about. listen closely and you may learn something.

Hmmmm... Music is important to her, and music has been good to her. She had "Happy Birthday" sung to her by the Eagles one birthday, has been on stage for the Fool's Overture at a Supertramp concert, and hangs out with the likes of geniuses like Nick Lowe and so many others, and her photo collection has her with more famous musicians than I could remember and recite in this testimonial. I am still seething with jealousy she got to speak face-to-face with Pete Townsend, a hero of mine I discovered on my own, and would love to discuss his work with him one day. But she beat me to the punch in talking to the MAN of Rock n' Roll. But to her it is a mere footnote, she has spoken with so many greats and so often, she might have forgotten a few of the conversations whereas most are lucky if they get to speak to one. I treasure my SuperTramp staff Jacket she gave me one day (think it was Ken Allerdyce's jacket).
My big sister forever changed my world by introducing me to some great musicians and albums. Queen, Nick Lowe, Kinks, Cheap Trick, SuperTramp and legions of others . These are bands I still listen to in awe, and I have since pursued relentlessly many of the musicians she suggested to me throughout their career as they changed bands, went solo, etc. Music is one of my great passions, and the quality of the music I listen too is so much higher because I listened to so many things she liked and saw how great her musical tastes are. Her kids (Jordan, Jayme, Robie, Ian) are a great bunch of kids and my own children (Cameron, Hitoshi, Michiko) are so much happier in life to have such great cousins. She raised a fine set of kids. I would not trade her for any other sister -- great music helps me enjoy life and weather hard times too. My music collection without her musical introductions to so many great bands would be a shadow of what it is. She might kick your ass if you piss her off, but hey you might have deserved anyway and as Billy Joel says "Shes Always A Woman". Maybe one day she and I will fly to the UK for a Roger Taylor concert. I would love to see Roger live, and she instilled an interest in Roger that still burns with passion to these days as I listen to his solo albums and The Cross albums.
