•Development of departmental Policies & Procedures and maintenance of Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations
•Verification of internal and external hospital privileges
•Management of Medical Staff Funds, including collection and disbursement of annual dues and all applicable fees
•Administrative clerical duties for the Medical Staff Services Department
•Collaboration with outside consulting firm and other healthcare facilities

•Maintain full eligibility files for multiple clients and health plans
•Responsible for verification of eligibility through health plan web site or VRU
•Collect benefit plan information and build benefit tables
•Field eligibility calls from Arcadian UM staff and provider offices
•Reconcile paper eligibility lists from health plan to internal files
•Process / resolve eligibility discrepancies / release rejected records flagged during electronic eligibility upload
•Perform credentialing and biannual re-credentialing for clients, and health plans
•Responsible for coordinating and ordering prescription medication for providers
