So here is how it goes:
I am buying a darbuka. I am looking for something with the high teks and low doums they are famous for. I want something fairly light weight and durable. I don't have a ton to spend. I am leaning towards aluminum for the metallic sound, but ceramic seems to be the popular choice, but I am not sure for what reason, can anyone help me pick?
