i feel very fortunate to've come under the care of Shredder's healing arts. i don't have any particular injuries and i'm not even athletic really (yet), but i'm a typist by occupation and i've been computer geek since i was a preteen... so you can imagine the state of my shoulders and upper back -- and yes, it does hurt and/or burn during very tense/strenuous times/work. Shredder has both the strength to work out my upper armor, and the progressive patience to do it thoroughly. plus, what others have referred to as her keen 'intuition,' i would rather phrase as deliberate skill and awareness. she knows what she's looking for, what she encounters, and what to do with it... she's talented. i felt thoroughly cared for and attended to after my first hour with her (and i'll be extending the length of my sessions in the future, to be sure). she's a very smart and capable massage therapist.

oh, and btw - i can have very strong aversions to being touched (even the *slightest* passing gesture), depending on the person (and i don't just mean males). i'm a bit of an empath, so i can pick up on motivations and undertones quite keenly. Shredder has a genuine disposition to comfort and heal, through her hands but with her heart. even if you don't have any injuries or tensions (but who doesn't have tension?), Shredder will take care of you - and you'll leave her space (or yours) feeling better overall.

I have received massage from dozens of professionals throughout the years, and simply no one even comes close to the massage work that Shredder does. She is truly a gifted healer. Her perfect combination of intuition and strength create massage that is tremendously healing.
