You wanna help us build something fabulous, cool, eco-friendly, portable, and absolutely ASTOUNDING? Would you like to get involved in creating not only a SACRED space, but a PUBLIC and repeatedly USABLE space? Have you ever wondered how to create a geodesic dome in a cheap, lightweight, and sturdy fashion?

Well, so do WE!

The Plan:
A 25 foot dome created from bamboo struts held together by a specially designed never-been-tried bolting mechanism. Cover this with 5 triangular-shaped tarps, and then decorate! Then, host a sacred, sexy blessing ritual within, and voila! Tantric Temple on the Go! This structure promises to last many years and appear at many festivals in its future.

The Crew:
So far, it's me, Michael, and Bunny. We promise to feed you well, and give you plenty of bad jokes to take home after each work party.

The Materials:
65 pieces of 8 foot bamboo canes
130 copper or aluminum electrical cable lugs
Bolts, wingnuts, the usual
Tarps with grommets in strategic places
5 pieces of bent rebar to hold it down to the ground
various bungees, velcro, and other miscellaneous stuff.

We don't own any of this stuff yet.

If you wanna be involved in this fabulous mathematical conglomeration, please contact me! We are looking to source the bamboo locally, so if you know of a stand that needs thinning, help us out!

All work starts after Lammas, so no schedule conflicts yet.

**BLINK BLINK** Yawn, Stretch...Hello?

Hey...where'd everybody go ? (go...go....go......echo fade)

Oh yeah...they're all on facebook...sure is empty 'round here.

I kinda miss the layout and the ease of understanding the home page. I can find everything I need, yeah, I remember that. But why does it still take so fucking long to load every damned page I click on? Oh, tribenet, where did you go wrong?

There's so much RIGHT going on here. OH, NO MAFIA WARS...far out! No more annoying little "What color best suits you?" games. No arbitrary choices of who and who is not presented as a friend of mine. Remember, Facebook was invented by a college kid. Someone who has no past to hide....:-).

I hope they come back someday. They probably won't because the tech is so behind the times here. Oh well.

Hey folks...

I'm avoiding Facebook until I can get my computer fixed. My Fido got a bad case of fleas....maybe even ticks! If you wanna find me, you gotta go the old fashioned route.

I might check it on the old clunker, which rarely gets bugs cuz it's so old.

Oh well.

facebook fucked up

My FB page has been out of reach for at least a week now. "We're sorry for the inconvenience. Try again in a few hours." LOL...if it ain't fixed, and I can't tell you it's broke, it won't be fixed. There are no 'bug reports' on Facebook...don't bother looking for them.

Since I can't handle the overabundance of shitty ads on Myspace, I'm back here on Tribe. Sorry if you got used to having me around on FB. Unless you can find a way to complain to them, I won't be able to come back till they fix whatever the fuck they did to my profile.

I love her because she is really silly in a way that I understand. Because she always thinks of me when she wants some music on short notice, sorry it isn't always what you are looking for.

What can I say about Sienna.....

She is one of my favorite teachers....... mostly on the DUH factor. She points out the obvious which I love to do as well! I love to work Festivals with her cause she has the experience to know what the solutions are...... she is also very silly and FUN to hang out with!! She is always up to help create silly games and gets community involved in them as well......... Hey Sienna "DUCK!!" lets just say she helps keep our DUCKS in a row........ QUONK!!

Sienna.
Sienna, is a portal, an entry way, a living threshold, a path in and of herself. And probably doesn't realize it. She somehow manages, well, a whole frikkin' lot, actually, but the single most important thing is to ask (yourself), do you know her? And just think about how has THAT affected your life!
There she is, with a big smile and a sense of moxie and is able to just reach out to so many, either just 'waking up' to or still searching for a spritual path, whether they had none or couldn't find what they needed to feed their soul or head within mainstream paths. She doesn't tell you what to do, she just lights the way. I am very glad for her in my life.
