Life of Sierra Goddess

holeless and wholeness

for months, i was submerged in insanity
my lesson was to not resist.

resistance really is futile.

beauty to my attitude.

yoga starts at the navel point

The ancient Shastras cite "all yoga starts at the navel point."

Once, a young student asked his teacher how far he must travel to find enlightenment and the true path of the Self. The teacher spread his fingers wide and said, "You must travel the distance from the thumb to the tip of the little finger. If you place the spread hand on your stomach with the little finger at the Navel Point, then the thumb stretches to the heart center. This is the mystical path consciousness must ascend."

centripetal force

Depression and anger have closed my heart and I lash out. It's so easy to trip along with words and teachings; spewing like spontaneous spit that flips from the tongue of a salivating mouth.

The IM world sparks and fades: I M this n U R that.
The new age world burns: You caused this and you caused that.

I bite and claw and blame and spit.

Spinning in my earth-bound plane, I fall dizzy into a trance.

Who is the creator? I am the creator. No more. No less. I am the creator of my creation. There is no one to blame. The responsibility is of my own. I dig in.

I spin out a million times a day, but before I spin too far, I dig back in.
I remind myself a million times a day that I am the creator.

Blame and fear easily burst to the surface, but my determination to let loose and fly are much greater.
My body, mind, and spirit split illusions. Traps and games that I no longer accept. A bitter pill to swallow, to take responsibility without blame; to take responsibility with compassion; to selfishly love my self with passion and respect.

I am the creator.

opening of life

my beloved
i meditate on your love
energy connects and the circuit is complete
my partner
my love
my life
i cherish you now, as i will cherish you tomorrow, as i have cherished you eternally
my love is in you

***** below is a quote from Yogi Bhajan ******

Our actions and reactions bring us to different variations.
But when you find the nucleus of your life and the brightness of your light--
when you understand your grace--
then our Mother Nature and our Heavenly Father will work with you as partners.
It is the promise of the Divine that God takes care of the affairs of those who have no duality.
