Well if you've never felt special your whole life, just hang out with Cia for a while. She'll either make you feel like you're the most unique and important person in the world, or, if you're lucky, some of her own uniqueness and specialness will rub off on you and you'll become a better person. I don't know what it is exactly.... Kat thinks its something about her smile (and it *is* magic), but I think it's something more invisible. Like touching static electricity while you're pumped full of valium. Like her brain is so powerful that its electromagnetic force interacts with your own. Who knows? Just sit back and enjoy her company and life suddenly becomes a virtual opium den.

While we were on the playa she was visiting the famiIy in NE Oregon and had a fatal encounter with a protective doe and her fawn.
Yes, my 3 pound Chihuahua was trampled to death by a deer. how bazaar.
It was a greusome and horrific death and I am deeply and forever pained that I was not there to protet her or hold her when the vet finally let the life leave her broken and bleeding body.
She was a unique and loving little creature that has left a huge hole in many people's...
