and our lives. While we were on the playa she was visiting the famiIy in NE Oregon and had a fatal encounter with a protective doe and her fawn. Yes, my 3 pound Chihuahua was trampled to death by a deer. how bazaar. It was a greusome and horrific death and I am deeply and forever pained that I was not there to protet her or hold her when the vet finally let the life leave her broken and bleeding body. She was a unique and loving little creature that has left a huge hole in many people's hearts, but most severly mine. my heart is broken. though you often couldn't telll, she loved you all that knew her. she perked up everytime she was around you. i had the opporutunity to spoil her these last few years after a life of mistreatment, to give her love and security and a family of expanded adoration(stinky breath or not). i am honored to have been her mama. thank you for loving her with me. Please, please send me any photos you might have of Saucy as I am creating a little book o' sausage. this is my tribute to my little dooodle.
