I am a daughter, Mom, wife, sister, granddaughter, niece, friend, companion, disciplinarian, doctor, teacher, maid, sounding board. jumble of emotions, bundle of ideas waiting for the right time, and person wanting and, more importantly, needing to believe in herself.

For the second year in a row, I've joined the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Last year I managed to walk 37.6 miles in 3 days which was great considering I didn't train very well. I'm on a spiritual journey that is quite bumpy at the moment. My faith is being tested and I think I'm losing. I don't know where I'm headed nor do I know what stops there will be along the way. I have been told my path is towards healer but I don't know how so I'm working on it. I'm more of a "please just hit me over the head with it already!" type person.

I also just found out, though I think I've known all along, that my oldest son, Zach, has Asperger Syndrome. He's so smart and intelligent but just has a hard time with change and certain social situations. So, I'm inundated with information and trying to get help for us so we can help him communicate better. But it doesn't change my extreme love for him; I love him so very much and this just makes him more unique!
