Sort of like Banksy but flipping the script and bombing on canvas' instead of brick and mortar, Antony Micallef has been gaining notoriety as of late for his paintings that have been satirical of religion, culture and it's obsessions with popular icons. It's all guns, bombs and rainbows in this reality.

Antony Micallef is the UK’s most promising young painter. For his first exhibition in LA, the Micallef show will explore his fascination with contemporary religion, gun culture and the fate of our children. His practice could be summarised as a “Critical Pop” that exposes the dark and troubling underbelly beneath our sugar-coated consumer society.
