TMCM: The Refill/Hello Portland

The 2nd TMCM Opera opens April 4th. I absolutely have to see it! My preference is either for opening weekend (Sat. April 5th) or closing weekend (Sat. April 19th). I'll be in Fresno the weekend of the 11th for a friend's birthday party.

But folks, I really need a place to stay, so if you can handle the the excitement of having a Meggy on your couch & a fun time at the opera, please let me know.

I'm moving back to Los Angeles for a couple years.

To be exact, I'm moving in with my Aunt Laurie & her family in Manhattan Beach. I'm at an unfortunate point in my life where I have to work for a while & pay back my student loans before I can finish school. Auntie can help me find a better job than what I could alone, hopefully with benefits, which I need. My physical & mental health have really been up & down this year & I need to take care of myself before I get worse. I'm moving in November, after the Hobb's Grove run. I'm taking her up on this offer because I recognize how blessed I am to have extended family w/ more money than mine who love me & care about my well-being.

For my L.A. area friends: Yes, it is party time. =)

For my Fresno friends:
I love you. It sort of feels that I've just found my niche again & now I'm uprooting.
This isn't permanent; I'll be back before we know it. By the way, It's not like you won't see me at all before I come back. I'll definitely be making visits home & you are of course welcome to visit me if you're in LaLa-Land. I also wouldn't object to being picked up on your way to a theme park. Hehe!
By the way, I love taking the train. So if for some reason you're feeling Meg-Withdrawal (haha), maybe we could go halfsies on a ticket, you could pick me up from the station & kidnap me for a weekend. No? Well, it was worth a shot, anyway.
