I am a newshound and a homebody, but I like to go out with my friends and throw down at a mean party. I can spend an afternoon in the sun, throwing disk, and I can not leave my computer for 24 hours. I'm into all sorts of stuff, and like most journalists, I know a little bit about almost everything but a lot about almost nothing.

I am eternally awaiting a rebirth of wonder, but I don't plan to do much about it until it looks like we can get most people to come along for the ride, or until it's necessary because the crash has happened. Why won't the crash happen right now?

Vegetarian House ( local favorites » restaurants ) "S'ok, s'not great, take the meat home with you" I eat here on occasion, and I *am* somewhat delighted simply that there is a mostly vegan Chinese place for chowing.

River City Bicycles ( local favorites » shops ) "with tires and wheels and tubes and lights and seats" They have so much stuffs in heres. Lotses of bikey funs to see and buy.

I luv em. They tooked the my wheel and fixed it up and even put on the new tube and pumped it all up, just because they're nice.

Lunchtime Disc Golf Course ( local favorites » parks & recreation ) "great for beginners" This is a fast-playing, deceptively easy-looking course. Located at Greater Portland Bible Church and some holes are among residences, so watch your loud, screaming fucks and shits.
