about me
I build the damned oddest things and I tinker with things I want to understand better, I love dance and teach a bit of it, I explore the world through my mind and wear my heart on my sleeve. I have an amazing little boy who is the largest focus of my life these days.
This is infinitely cool, and thoroughly geeky

Not quite a rocket (more of a human scale jet wing), but still amazing and full of similarities (use your body for the control surfaces, etc).

How anybody could say this in public with a straight face (even with the disclaimer "derived from a different statistical survey than the payroll figures") is beyond me. Then again, they so gerrymander this kind of data as to make these reports more than useless.

New and fun adventures on the horizon.

Still looking for a place to set down for a few years, and I haven't had much luck yet. Admittedly though I'm looking to meet some fairly specific needs : 2 or more bedrooms (a third for office space if possible), needs to have a yard and be OK with dogs, < $2000, must be in alameda.
If anybody knows of anything or has any resources to suggest I'm all ears.
