Many states in Australia are set to lift their present moratorium on commercial growing GM foods. While many growing many GM foods has been approved by the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator, and trials of GM crops have taken place, the States' ban has prevented commercial growing of GM food.

IP outside the US is much like IP in the US - you have the same classes of property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs and a couple of newbies to fill in the gaps lest any ideas run free of appropriation.

Hey, I am still trying to work out what the focus of my blog is. My interests are generally science and technology, and then the range of interests in how we integrate such knowledge into our daily lives.
