BIOGRAPHY:
4Flavaz Entertainment Recording Artist Sumiko, also a vocalist in the alternative rock band Stagefright, began her career as a poet and spoken word artist at the age of 15, and performed with her first band Poetic Justice at 17. She trained for 2 years with Leila Steinberg's Assemblies in Motion, the same organization out of Marin, CA (currently in Santa Monica) that helped a young 2Pac Shakur make the transition from spoken word to rap.
A long-time political activist in the Fillmore/Western Addition, Sumiko and Stagefright have also performed at numerous community benefits including Soupstock and Juneteenth and have opened for acts such as Rage Against the Machine, Rappin 4Tay, JT the Bigga Figga, Millions of Dead Cops, San Quinn, and Storm and her Dirty Mouth.
In addition to being what 4Tay, Hugh EMC, Mac Jeff and others describe as a superior lyricist, Sumiko, having honed her skills as a vocalist in a number of venues in San Francisco and Los Angeles can sing, rap, and perform in more than one genre, and is currently majoring in music and learning studio engineer production.

Ugh... I got reinfected with the flu. Now I am at work with the chills. I just popped some multi-symptom cold pills, which I hope will help, because it sucks big time to be sitting around with your teeth chattering.

I haven't posted anything in a while.
