Colbert's website is beautiful, for sure. The TED talks (one of which SKeye linked to here) are also amazing for their hopefulness, for their courage to look at our world and our ways in another light.
We hear so much negativity and hopelessness and doom and violence and destruction in the news. There is other stuff happening, there are people having other thoughts and trying to manifest their ideas. I wish we heard more about that. Corporations, with their enormous ecological and cultural footprint, could wake up a lot of people to other ideas... if they wanted to. |
