about me
After nine years of pains, I've finally been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I'm also still undergoing followups to find out why my cgA marker has increased after the removal of a carcinoid tumor last year. In happier news, I have an awesome preschooler who just rocks!

Flight was uneventful, as most good flights are.
Back is VERY tweaked and sore, tho. I'm tellin' ya, the tablet form of gabapentin does NOT work REMOTELY as well for me as the capsules. :(
Bed might be too soft. :) Stupid memory foam!

The car is mostly packed.
I'm stopping at the Chiropractor,
Then off to lunch.
From lunch, SmarteCartes and smuggling.
Then, liftoff.
With any luck, there will be three of us on the flight...
If you don't hear from me before Saturday, d...

I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea
I've got to be free, free to face the life that's ahead of me
On board, i'm the captain, so climb aboard
We'll search for tomorrow on every shore
And i'll try, oh lord, i'll try to carry ...

It is always a treat to see someone get the fire in their brain for perfromance and find their niche in dance, with goals seeking more theater. This is the case for the time i have known Heather. I wish you well in your work toward your goals, as I know you have the ability and the desire, all it will take is time and effort, which you are putting in.

Heather is nice.

Heather is like the sun, always shining and filled with a bright light that shines through. She's funny and always willing to learn new things. Her daughter is lucky to know a woman so kind for her whole life.

Okay, so I'm thinking to myself, how can I communicate the essence of Heather to the world? Do I mention her impish sense of humor? Should I write about her delightful dancing? Or do I tell people about her thoughtfulness and beauty? Ah, the thoughts spin in my head! What to tell the world about this incredible lady? Is it even possible to inform those who haven't had the pleasure of actually meeting her of how special she really is? Nah, you know, I don't think I can find the words to sum up her special character, so I'll just say, she's one damn fine lady.

___A Poem for Heather___
(by Preston Gelberwolf)
are you still there?
Have you scampered off into the void?
Are you no more?
Hm.
She's gone.
All alone again
naturally
No more Heather
I'm Heather-less.
Devoid of Heather.
The darkness envelops me
The demons who hide in those shadows, the shadows of Heather's absence,
they do stab at my heart like a thousand needles.
that's a lot of needles, my friend!
Yep.
My heart is a demon's pin cushion, when Heather is not around.
