</a>
										<div>Have you ever seen a movie that entertained you mentally and visually? None this year has made that list to me. Honestly the last movies that made a huge impact to me were the 'Lord of the Ring' movies and 'Kill Bill'. But last Friday, I went to see 'Serenity' on opening night. I took my adopted son with me and we were welcomed by a long line of fans that wrapped around the corner of the movie house we went to. It was awesome to be with that crowd. And my adopted son, who's never seen the tv series the movie spawned from, was surprised to see this line that kept growing once we stood in the same line. We finally got in teh theater and once the movie started and throughout, I kept looking at him to see if he's still showing interest. His eyes were just glued on the screen. I asked him what he thought about the movie whe it finished and in his own words, he said, "That was a good movie!" That made me so happy. So glad that Joss Whedon can make a movie that will satisfy the fans and the newbies alike. If only more movies were made this way, I'd probably watch more of them in the theaters. Previously I thought the reason I didn't watch movies in the theater anymore was because I had nobody to go with but it's not that. I just realized there wasn't anything worth paying full admission, even matinee anymore. But 'Serenity' is worth every penny. Yes I am a Joss Whedon 'fan boy' and my opinion is biased because of that fact. But I hope sharing with you about my adopted son's experience watching it would at least peak your interest. :-)

PS. I've seen it twice last weekend. I'm planning to see it again this weekend. If anybody is in my area and would like to join me, you're more than welcome!</div>

										<div>What the fuck? Wondering about this blog post's title I bet. Ha! Well I hope it got you reading this anyway. So yay, I'm back from Hawaii. It was a wonderful week. Nothing but sun and the beach, shopping, eating, and sippin on mai-tais. Oh and I ran into a cast member of the show called 'Lost' while I was window shopping at the Gucci's there also. I couldn't ask for anything better! I feel very relaxed but I still have no urge to go back to work. I can just see the mounds of paperwork that those bastards, I mean my co-workers, put on my desk. My cousin, who works with me also, has told me some stories about what has happened the last week and I don't want to go back. OK, she said that it wasn't too bad but I guess I just enjoyed being away from Hades for a whole week. So here I am just listening to some jams as I reply back to emails that have accumulated the whole week I was gone. OK, it is not really alot. Mostly junk, but I wanted to feel special for a minute there. Anyway, so as I type this Winnie, my dog is beside me snoring. It's like the most cutest snore ever! Until next time.</div>

    </a>
										<div>So, I'm gonna be leaving for HI this morning at 9am. But I have to be up at 4am to get ready and check in by 6am. I don't know why the check in is so early. I just want to be there already. I have never been to Hawaii so I'm a little excited. I will be more when I finally get there. Alot of peple are asking me what I plan to do there and honestly, I don't really know. It's my first time. I am down for anything. As I type this I am feeling really exhausted but I still can't sleep. I have a feeling that I won't be getting any sleep tonight. At least my clothes are packed. The only thing left is my toiletries which I'll pack up after using it one last time before I leave. I'm also thinking of packing my portable DVD and bring some movies or shows to watch during the plane rides. My thoughts are everywhere right now, as you can probably tell by the way I'm typing this blog. I don't care. I'm going to Hawaii. First time! I can't wait! See you in a week!</div>

    </a>
										<div>I've probably had one of the best weekends since the last great weekend. I know it has been awhile because I can't even remember when that was. Plus the great warm weather also helped! My weekend started on Friday after 5pm. Got home and Patrick, Arnie and I plus our 2 kids went out to eat dinner at a Japanese retaurant. It was good. I'm not a big fan of sushi so I had the combination tempura. For all of you that know me, you know I'm not a big fan of vegetables but if it's deep fried, I'm all over it. After that we went to Fry's and I bought myself 2 extra controllers for my X-Box and the X-Men Legends video game. Once we got home, Patrick opened the game he bought, which was Jeopardy for the PS2, and Patrick, Arnie and I played it. Played a couple of rounds but I proved to be a competition. I'm not as dumb as I thought I was. Surprised me and them. Haha. After that, I opened the copy of 'The Ring Two' that I had bought earlier in the week and watched it. People should really stop making sequels if they don't need to. I thought it was alright but it just was not as spooky as its predecessor. After the movie, the kids wanted to play X-Men with me so we did that for a couple of hours. I went to bed that night at about 3:30am. When I awoke, we were getting ready to leave to go to Santa Cruz.Got uout of bed, took a quick shower and we headed out. First thing I did once we got there was eat a corn dog. I love their corn dog at the Boardwalk. We walked around for a couple of hours. Ate more bad stuff, drank a little, oogled at the hotties. Kind of hard to not notice at the beach. We finally headed out at about 6:30pm. Got home and it gave me enough time to relax for a little bit and then get ready to go out with some pals to the city. All I have to say was that evening was so fun. Went to my usual rounds and got bought or given free drinks. It was awesome. I'd tell you more but honestly, it's a little blurry to remember but I know I had fun. Hehe. Arnie came with me and we both got home at about 4:30am. I woke up at about 2:30pm on Sunday. Only because Patrick woke me up. LoL. It was about relaxing that day. We went to have some lunch, then went home, then Patrick and Arnie dropped off the kids to Concord. And I just stayed at home and watched 'Buffy', played City of Heroes and now..chatting and writing this blog. I feel exhausted but I am very content. It was just a really great series of events for me right from the time I got off work to the end of this blog....I hope it goes over to my work week.</div>

    </a>
										<div>Do you ever get the feeling that things prevent you from getting from one place to another? Especially when you're pressed for time as it is. I swear I was already running late for work and that's how I felt. I was already running 15 minutes behind on my commute and it was going fine until I got near San Francisco on 101N. Suddenly I was going 2 MPH. 15 minutes later I see the reason and a big rig got into an accident with a couple of cars that closed all lanes but 1. So I finally pass that and the roads were clear for only about 15 seconds and it clogged up again as I got close to the Bay Bridge. You know how people like to watch and not concentrate while driving (I do it too) but it was a bus being towed. A tow truck was litterally pushing this big bus from behind on the bridge. So I finally pass that and get to our building. It's already 9am. I'm usually in at work by 8:30. I had also bought some stuff for the office last night at Target and Walgreens so I carried all of those with me. I get in the elevators with this lady. I'm on the 8th floor, right so she pushes 2, but I think she meant to press 6. So anyway it would've annoyed me to see her go from the first to the second cause I hate when people do that. If you're unable to go up a floor it's ok, but if you can walk you can climb a flight of stairs ya know? Anyway, she meant to press 6 anyway, so I didn't mind so much. We finally get to the second floor and the door closes. We then get to the 3rd and a guy walks in. Guess what he presses. 4th Floor. When he got there and left I was giving him such a dirty look cause I was carrying all this stuff also from the office. Finally we get to the lady's floor then to mine. I think that whole elevator ride cost me another 5 minutes at least it felt like it. Anyway, that was my story for the day. Whatever the reason was for not getting here on a much earlier time I hope it ended like a global virus scare or something important cause I am exhausted with just that whole ordeal.</div>

    </a>
										<div>Last night I had the opportunity to watch the series finale of probably one of the best shows I have seen. 'Six Feet Under' went all out and totally delivered a perfect ending to a wonderful show. The series showed us the harsh reality of death that most movies and shows project to us as lifeless and meaningless and most of all was that life sucked alot. But after all the fucked up situations the Fisher Family went through during the 5 years of the show's run, I felt that there was closure. The episode was so good that, I litterally am still feeling its effects this morning when I woke up. Images from the episode are still popping in my mind and probably will be for the next couple of days. So I figure typing it out would help release some of the anxiety I'm feeling. It feels like I just lost alot of friends. Weird to feel this way about a show I know, but that's how good it was. This show proves that again life is short, so take risks before it's too late and you regret not making that decision for the rest of your life.</div>

    </a>
										<div>I figure I'd be hip and start a blog here. I've had previous ones before but I tend to lose interest in typing out my life for everyone to read. One reason to that is cause there really isn't much to tell when it comes to my life. I don't know why nothing significant ever happens. Like tonight, I watched a couple of movies. Both unfortunately did not even make my evening interesting. Entertaining but not enough to make me want to rant and rave about it. The movies were 'Closer' and 'After the Sunset'. The only thing great about 'Closer' was Damien Rice's 'The Blower's Daughter' song being played twice in the movie. And in 'After the Sunset', I expected more. A couple of scenes were funny but it was just dumb. Oh well, at least I can say that I saw them. Or maybe it's better to never mention it at all...out of sight, out of mind. Maybe the movie I saved for later will be better. If I get to it. The only thing I am looking forward to today is the series finale of 'Six Feet Under'. </div>
