No, he's wrong. Well he's right in saying that Jews are not the chosen people. But definitely wrong in saying that God is a childish superstition.

God IS a childish superstition, as is santa and the easter bunny.

Is needing Einstein to agree with you on the existence (or not) of God that much different than needing to believe in God?

I agree with Einstein... I don't believe there is a such thing as a Biblical God.
a God is greater than us...we cannot possibly fathom what/who God is.
Something created us and we are too intricately designed to be from Nothing.

On the Jew people being the chosen ones note: Hmmmm
It seems everyone is the same. We all contribute and destroy one way or another. For any race to call themselves the Chosen People shows a major inferiority/superiority complex. (sounds racist too) Egos don't have good judgement. This world is a rat race. Someone always wants to get one leg up on someone else. Saying you are a Chosen People is an extension of that.

"God" is consciousness (said Shirley MacLaine)
...and I agree with her. Read "The Celestial Prophecies" and you'll know what it means.
