I live in Marlborough at the 'Magic Castle' with Dave Silvia and Chaya Liegha now. It's 30 minutes to where I teach and 40 to where I play and an hour closer to NYC. That's gonna work nicely this year if I can just save enough to go a couple places in the summer like the fire circle in San Diego and maybe (just maybe) Burning Man if I can get my shit together and have what I need to go when August comes around. Well, The Sky Bar was so pleased with our show that we're back on a weekend and headlining! March 31st (in Somerville)
Things are goin' great for the band.! I also recently recovered the entire sound track that we recorded for the NYC show at COSM and when that is mixed, we'll have a nice promo dvd that we'll put pieces of on our myspace site and the homesite (skybearis.com)

I feel the most at home when I'm doing shows and these last three shows, which were the first three shows for the SBX band, have been so perfect that I feel so full of love, I don't know how to handle it calmly. Yes! The gig I've been wanting to do since I drove by the place.
We still laugh every time we say it. It actually used to be a punk/metal hang, but the new owner totally redid the place with a baddass stage/sound/light settup and it's really nice in there now and sounds way cool.
We'll have the full band and dancers with a suprise or two so don't miss it.
